There are 3 types of Removable Partial Dentures
1. Acrylic partial denture – These denture are made up of pink acylic plate which house false teeth, and they derive support from surrounding soft tissue and underlying bone.
2. Cast metal partial Denture – A partial denture in which acrylic plate housing artificial teeth, is supported by thin metal base.
3. Flexible Denture – This type of partial denture is made up flexible thermoplastic material. The clasps are made up of flexible material and the colour of denture resembles very much with the colour of natural gums. It can be used for the patients allergic to acrylic material.
